My Story . . .
Hello. My name is Angela Shaw.
I am the owner/operator of Companion Services for Seniors.

Helping Seniors live more independent and fulfilling lives is my business and my passion. After more than 20 years in the Financial Services industry, I made the decision to turn my focus to work that I found more personally meaningful and satisfying.

I began volunteering at Grand River Hospital and at a local Long Term Care residence, providing companionship and activities to residents with various forms of dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. In doing so I discovered how much I enjoyed interacting with them.
At the same time I became more aware of the gaps in our current system for eldercare and decided to make addressing those gaps a full time career. I formed my company to formalize and expand the services I offer to meet the needs of both Seniors and Caregivers in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and surrounding communities.
Seniors have so much to give. I feel privileged to spend time with them, getting to know them and interacting with them on a personal level. I look forward to extending helping hands and a loving heart to you and yours.
